Position Overview
Stonebrooke Homes is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Master Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in all aspects of fine carpentry, including framing, finishing, and custom millwork installation. This role is critical in maintaining the craftsmanship and precision that define every Stonebrooke home. The Master Carpenter will work closely with Site Supervisors, Designers, and Project Managers to ensure all work meets the highest standards of quality and design intent.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality carpentry work including framing, trim, cabinetry, and custom finishing.

• Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and design specifications.

• Collaborate with site teams to ensure seamless coordination and timely project completion.

• Install doors, windows, moldings, staircases, built-ins, and other custom features.

• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, alignment, and superior craftsmanship.

• Train and mentor junior carpenters and apprentices as needed.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work environment.

• Uphold Stonebrooke Homes’ commitment to precision, detail, and lasting quality in every project.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in residential carpentry, with a focus on high-end or custom home construction.

• Proven expertise in both rough and finish carpentry.

• Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and construction best practices.

• Ability to read and interpret detailed plans and shop drawings.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship or Red Seal certification preferred.

• Own tools and reliable transportation required.
